Shogofa (she/her) is a second-year student pursuing Geography (Environment & Sustainability) with a minor in GIS and Geographical Computations. A Hazara from Afghanistan, she moved to the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples in 2017. She is joining the UBC HRC as a student researcher for the ICF-Afghanistan project. When not working or studying, Shogofa can be found hiking, reading, and exploring the city with friends
