Public Engagement Symposium: “connection & complexity”

On October 21st, 2017, UBC students returning from recent 3 month international service learning (ISL) placements will share their experiences, learning, and lingering questions at a post-engagement symposium. This year’s symposium- “connection & complexity" considers the multifaceted connections made, approaches taken, and challenges explored within community engagement.

ORICE's annual Public Engagement Symposium theme this year is Resilience. Our annual gathering recognizes the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, 2016 and brings together members of the UBC, provincial, and global communities to explore the role of resilience in community development.
