2023W: SAR Scholars in Prison Engagementship

Students will engage in research and scholarly informed activism in support of SAR’s Scholars in Prison Project– which seeks to support and free wrongfully imprisoned scholars and students around the world. This year’s case will focus on imprisoned scholars in India, China, Iran, Belarus, and Egypt.

Food Stash Research Engagementship (Cohort #2)
Project Dates: Sept-Dec 2022. Students will conduct participatory action research through dialogue with food market users to better understand the user demographics and needs.
EIESL Engagementship (Cohort #3)
Project Dates: Jan-April 2023. Students will explore the ways that international engagement has changed over time and consider how our ethical framework should adapt.
HRC & DCOE Research Engagementship (Cohort #1)
Project Dates: June-Aug 2022. Students will engage in research & analysis of Canadian cultural heritage as to the effects of Canadian Armed Forces’ military actions.
