2018 Symposium: Proposal Application

UBC’s Office of Regional and International Community Development is dedicated to fostering meaningful engagement between students, faculty and communities in the regional and international levels. Not only do we facilitate students’ experiential learning experiences with various community partners across world, we are also committed to finding new ways to open dialogues that aim to be mutually beneficial, through asset-based community development practices. For our 2018 Global Community Development Symposium, we invite you to be part of our dialogue, as a presenter! You would be given to opportunity to share your experiences, research and insights about our themes to over 200 attendees from all around the world.

All applications undergo a review by the ORICE. Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria:

1) Overall quality of submission content,

2) Well-defined educational objectives,

3) Relevancy of content to our annual theme and

4) Topic and content applicability to a broad audience.
