Ladysmith Collective (October, 2019)

On October 18th, 2019 the Collective hosted an intimate learning session with Dr. Tara Cookson and Dr. Lorena Fuentes from the Ladysmith Collective around integrating gender-based analysis across disciplines employing a practitioner-based approach. This event was open only to researchers in our Collective.

About the Ladysmith Collective

Dr. Tara Patricia Cookson and Dr. Lorena Fuentes are co-founders of Ladysmith, a feminist research consultancy that helps international organizations collect, analyze and take action on gender data. Founded in 2016 to bring women’s voices and analyses to the forefront of evidence generation, Ladysmith’s research team has worked across the UN Sustainable Development Goals, partnering with organizations including UNICEF, UN Women, the OECD-DAC, and Days for Girls. Their publications on gender data have been featured in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, Devex, and the Toronto Star.
