Emma Villalobos (she/her) is a fourth-year student majoring in International Relations and minoring in Law and Society. She is passionate about social justice and human rights. Therefore, she is excited to join the Human Rights Training Project as a program assistant. In the past, Emma has volunteered in organizations addressing food insecurity and promoting equal access to education. Additionally, Emma has worked supporting Latin American refugees as they seek status in Canada. Coming from Costa Rica, she is excited to meet and work with people of different backgrounds and interests. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, as well as exploring new places around the city with friends.
