The COVID-19 & Society course explores how the pandemic is impacting society

August 4th, 2020

UBC ORICE is proud to collaborate with Dr. Katherine Lyon and her COVID-19 & Society course which invites students to examine COVID-19 as a global public issue, considering how pandemics inform social inequality, interpersonal interaction, and societal change locally and internationally. ORICE is supporting the course by identifying various community organizations relating to things such as gender, race, sustainability, health etc. and handling the logistics behind student collaboration with these organizations. Over the past few years, ORICE has had the pleasure of working with faculty and instructors on integrating experiential learning in student coursework.
