About

Adeline Chartol (she/her) is a 4th year student studying International Relations. She grew up in the Washington D.C. area and moved to the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples in 2021. Before starting her position with ORICE, she worked with Squamish Nation and the Indigenous Pathways team at UBC. As a participant in ORICE’s international ECON 364b course she worked with a Kenyan NGO to develop a framework of different economic evaluations which were feasible for the NGO to conduct. Through this work, she developed a passion for community-based engagement and is excited to work with ORICE on developing a CBE training. Outside of academics and work, she enjoys going to concerts, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
