Fariha Kabir (she/her) is a first-year master’s student at UBC’s School of Public Policy and Global Affairs. Born and raised in Bangladesh, she is passionate about the intersectionality between health and gender, and how digital financial services can be instrumentalized to empower vulnerable communities in the global South. She previously completed her Economics undergraduate degree from the Netherlands and holds 3+ years of consulting and research experience across themes such as climate action, gender and inclusive financing.
