Mira (she/her) is a second-year Psychology major at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Being an international student, she recognizes and emphasizes the need to build a global community that supports the development of an individual as well as the world itself. As the Communications Assistant at ORICE, and through experience in the field of social empowerment of communities that she gained in India, she hopes to aid in contributing towards ORICE’s vision of creating worldwide engagement opportunities. Her interests lie in health equity and global climate change. During her free time, she likes traveling, going to the gym, and experimenting with graphic design.
